Kurt is an associate in the firm’s business and natural resources practice, where he focuses on transactions involving mining, oil and gas, and environmental matters. His practice includes supporting clients in acquisitions, development projects, and regulatory compliance across a range of industries.
Kurt assists with due diligence, including land records, and oil and gas leases, and helps identify title and permitting issues affecting transactions. He also analyzes federal and state laws governing land use and environmental permitting.
In addition, Kurt advises on compliance with environmental and natural resources laws, including endangered species protections, historic preservation requirements, environmental review processes, and public lands regulations in connection with project development and operations.
